Kumho Cutural Art Foundation

The Kumho Cultural Foundation has attempted to support leading artists who push the boundaries of the Korean art scene through two institutions; the Kumho Museum of Art and the Kumho Art Studio. The Kumho Museum of Art runs the Kumho Young Artist program for promising young artists; and an invitational exhibition for established, leading Korean artists. In doing so, all of these efforts aim to promote the discovery and growth of young talented artists as well as providing a solid footing for the enhancement of arts and culture in Korea.

In pursuance of fully-fledged support for artists’ creative activities, the Kumho Museum of Art runs an artist residency program via the Kumho Art Studio. The Kumho Art Studio provides artists with guaranteed work space and facilities where artists can devote themselves to create artworks. Furthermore, it offers an extended network of contacts across a broad spectrum of projects.
