Contemporary Art
Since its inauguration, the museum has been committed to discovering and
promoting promising young artists. To this end, the museum launched the Kumho
Young Artist program in 2004 — a competitive platform designed to identify and
support emerging talent in the Korean art scene.
Through a rigorous selection process, the program offers chosen artists the
opportunity to present their work in solo exhibitions at the museum. In the long
term, the program aims to open a new chapter in Korean contemporary art by
showcasing bold, experimental, and forward-looking works that reflect the spirit
and potential of a new generation.
