Kumho Cutural Art Foundation

Since its inauguration of the Kumho Museum of Art in 1989, the museum has consistently collected contemporary artwork from inside and outside of Korea. The current collection encompasses painting, photography, sculpture, video along with other mediums. These serve as a beacon to monitor the patterns in Korean contemporary art and to identify the experimental spirit of up-and-coming artists.

Started in the mid-2000s, the design collection showcases the history of 20th century’s designs with functionality and aesthetic beauty; from the Bauhaus’s original object, known as the root of modern design in the early 20th century, to the kitchen collection and children’s furniture of Europe collections.
